Avoid risks and possible losses that may result from constant fluctuations of the foreign exchange market. With a future contract you may fix the exchange rate of your international banking transactions that will be liquidated on a future date. It lets you fix the exchange rate for your payment in 30, 60, 90,120 or 180 days. Solely by having your approved credit line1, you will have the opportunity of reserving your foreign currency without the need of paying the opening of the contract, until expiration date of the contract, when payment will be automatically debited from your account with us.

Drafts foreign currency

Obtain drafts in foreign currency, either to send payments abroad or to travel to another country. Drafts in foreign currency offer the possibility of sending your payments internationally as if you had an account in that country. These are checks in foreign currency treated as local checks, that avoid the collection charges and save you time.

Commercial Customers with foreign currency payment needs may visit any branch in Puerto Rico U.S. Virgin Islands,Tortola, or may direct instructions through Corporate and Private Banking to receive the service benefit. Payment will be sent directly to beneficiary’s account at the most competitive local market rates.
